These five verses revolutionized the human knowledge. Allah asks man to read (observe ) in his name who has created everything that exists i.e. Allah asks man to read about everything that exists in this world , it includes Archeology, sociology, Biology, Moral Science, Ecology, Anatomy , Zoology, Agronomy , physics , Astronomy , Cosmology , Botany , Mathematics , Political science , Genetics , Logic etc. In third verse Allah says Read and your Lord is most generous i.e Allah will provide you as much knowledge as much you seek. The World is a book written by Allah and we can’t praise a book without reading it. In Quran religion and science go hand-in-hand. As Allah says
O mankind ! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may become Al-MuttaqunI(the pious)
Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshiped)
Allah gives challenge to each and everyone having doubt in his constitution. Allah says
And If you are in doubt concerning that which we have sent down(I.e. the Quran) to our slave (Muhammad S.A.W), then produce a surah(chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers ) besides Allah, if you are truthful. (I: 23)
